Daily inspection

1. Check appearance
   Check the appearance of the gear pump for damage, deformation, leakage, etc. In particular, the pump body, import and export flanges, sealing parts, etc., if cracks, damage or leaks are found, they should be dealt with in time.
   Observe whether the connection bolt is loose, if loose, it should be tightened in time to prevent vibration and noise during the operation of the pump.
2. Check the temperature
   Check the casing temperature of the gear pump by hand or using a temperature measuring instrument. During normal operation, the temperature of the pump should be within a certain range, generally not exceeding 60 ° C. If the temperature is too high, it may be caused by overload, poor lubrication, internal wear and other reasons, and it is necessary to troubleshoot the fault in time.
3. Stress check
   Check whether the outlet pressure of gear pump is stable. Pressure changes can be monitored by a pressure gauge mounted on the outlet pipe. If the pressure fluctuation is large or lower than the normal working pressure, it may be due to the blockage of the inlet, internal wear of the pump, seal failure and other reasons, should be carried out the corresponding maintenance.
4. Noise check
   Listen to the noise of the gear pump during operation. Under normal circumstances, the noise of the gear pump is small and stable. If the noise suddenly increases or abnormal sound occurs, it may be caused by damage to the internal parts of the pump, bearing wear, coupling loosening and other reasons, and it needs to be stopped for inspection.
5. Check traffic
   You can check whether the flow rate of the gear pump is normal by the flow meter or observing the flow of the conveying medium. If the flow is reduced, it may be due to the blockage of the inlet filter, the internal wear of the pump, the increase of the sealing gap and other reasons, and should be maintained in time.

1. Clean and maintain
   Clean the external surface of the gear pump regularly to keep the pump clean. You can use a clean cloth to wipe the pump body, import and export flanges and other parts to remove dust, oil and other impurities.
   Clean the inlet filter to prevent impurities from entering the pump and affecting the normal operation of the pump. Under normal circumstances, the filter should be removed and cleaned at regular intervals, and the specific time interval can be determined according to the actual use.
2. Lubrication maintenance
   According to the requirements of the equipment manual, the gear pump is lubricated regularly. In general, the bearings and gears of the gear pump need to be lubricated with suitable lubricating oil. When adding lubricating oil, pay attention to the moderate amount of oil to avoid too much or too little.
   Check the quality of lubricating oil, such as lubricating oil deterioration, pollution, etc., should be replaced in time.
3. Seal maintenance
   Check gear pump seals regularly, such as mechanical seals, packing seals, etc. Observe whether there is leakage in the sealing part, and replace the seal in time if there is leakage.
   When replacing the seal, it is necessary to strictly follow the operating procedures to ensure that the seal is installed correctly and prevent leakage again.
4. Operation and maintenance
   Operate in strict accordance with the operating procedures of the gear pump to avoid the operation of the pump under overload, overpressure, overtemperature and other conditions.
   Before starting the gear pump, check whether the inlet and outlet valves of the pump are opened to ensure that the pump is filled with conveying media. After starting, it is necessary to observe the operation of the pump, and if there is an anomaly, it should be stopped immediately for inspection.
   The gear pump is turned regularly to check whether the rotation of the pump is flexible. Pay attention to safety when turning the car, to avoid hands being involved in the pump.
5. Spare pump maintenance
   If there is a standby pump, the standby pump should be checked and maintained regularly to ensure that the standby pump is in a good standby state. The standby pump can be started regularly for a period of time to check whether its performance is normal.
